No. It is an emergency heat layer with no temperature rating. It reflects your radiant heat and blocks wind and rain. It is a backup for when the heat is gone, not gear for a winter camping trip.
Is it waterproof?
It is water-resistant. It sheds rain and splashes and blocks wind, but it is not waterproof and should not be used in standing water.
Does it protect me from the cold ground?
Not much, and we will not pretend it does. Put a pad, a car seat, cushions, cardboard or leaves between you and the cold surface.
How small and light is it?
About 4.2 oz, and it packs down to about the size of your fist in the drawstring sack. It fits in a glovebox, backpack, purse or drawer.
How many should I get?

Can I reuse it?
